Marc Gebauer appointed new Commercial Managing Director at Steinbeis Papier

Glückstadt, 19/10/2023 – Marc Gebauer is taking up the position of Commercial Managing Director of Steinbeis Papier GmbH. This will give him full responsibility for the sales/marketing, finance and accounting, SCM, HR and IT departments. He succeeds Ulrich Feuersinger, who will enter a well-earned retirement on 1 April 2024.

Marc Gebauer is very keen to get to grips with the new challenges at Steinbeis Papier. He has also been acknowledging the outstanding work of Ulrich Feuersinger and the entire team: “I’m absolutely delighted to be able to continue the remarkable work of my predecessor, Ulrich Feuersinger. It makes me immensely proud to lead a company that has already succeeded in sustainably uniting a values-driven corporate culture with a high degree of innovative strength. I truly believe that given the resources we already have, and such a dedicated team, we can fashion a successful future together. At the same time, the brand core, ‘ReThinking the Future’, will remain a primary guiding principle.”

Marc Gebauer will be able to draw upon a considerable wealth of experience as he goes about his new responsibilities: a graduate in business administration, he began his career in the office supplies industry with self-adhesive specialists Herma. He moved to Lyreco Deutschland GmbH in 2002, where he held various sales management positions, leading up to his tenure as Managing Director in which he was instrumental in shaping the company’s development from 2011 to 2021. Most recently, he was employed by Amazon EU SARL as Senior Manager in Category Adoption.
